Since getting back we compiled a list of 100+ items to do on the airstream and "ruby" (F150) before our trip. Here are some of the major items "ticked off" list:
Welding repair of steps - thanks Eugene. see photo
Repaired Grey tank waste leak (see before photo)
Cover for Speaker and Separators for batteries & electrics
Air Conditioner power socket - bypassing inverter. tested and it works :)
Metal Wall covers for shower and Entrance
Windows - new Tap Plastics windows and restored 2 more windows (only 1 to go)
New Water Pump & Vent Covers (nice stainless versions)
Installed a Safe for valuables
Outside Door Light and running lights
Outside Shower Cabana (tested in our kichen photo)
Fridge Freezer cubbies/shelves replacements, plus numerous other storage boxes
F150 Truck - Bull Bars, Headlights, Trailer Brake Holder, Storage for bench seat
With one month to go - these are still on list:
Gas Canisters, recertify and (maybe) change valves
Flooring – install quarter-round
Polish outside
Make sure all Running Lights replaced and work
Improve storage space under bed - mainly for dinette cushion
Install new water inlet pipe
Repair kitchen counter and Sand Chopping Board
Patch Awning
Finish Windows & Flyscreens (windows & doors)
Tidy up wiring and cover for 110V fuse box
Patch belly pan
Some prep work for using tailer in UK (hitch, indicators...)
External Camera and door alarm
Service F150
