Found our "Dream Trailer"

In late June we saw an 1957 Overlander 26ft located in Arizona and then noticed it moved to California in late July. After a few calls with the owner we decided to see it in August. Here are photos from the Ad:

After getting up early on 20th August 2020 we met Jim in Hemet. Yes - it was 121 degrees Farenheit (nearly 50 C). Needless to say we did not spend too much time inside trailer, but saw enough to want to provide an offer. We agreed to provide a deposit provided the title papers were clear and registered in California.

Jim provided some interesting background on the trailer. He believes that it was initially built for workers on the Santa Fe railroad - hence the unusual layout of a bed/wardrobe at each end. Since getting it - Jim did some work on the trailer - more on that later,

Now we need to find a way to get it to Northern California
