After second day of our test week I wanted to share the results of the leccy system. Very pleasing so far.
As discussed previously we have a complete solar and 110v inverter setup plus some other fun features. The main specs are:
Renogy 2kw inverter
2x100W flexible panels on roof
2x100W Renogy external panels
Renogy Mppt and charger. This is for solar and charging from tow truck
Victron 12V circuit protector
3 * 110AH AGM batteries
The photo above shows the results from the Renogy Bluetooth Monitoring App. As you can see the 2 flex panels are working well and generating 189W and the Tow truck is providing 137W through the tow hitch connector so we are going to have full batteries when we get there 😃
We haven't tested the external panels yet but hope to do this when we are in desert. Also the direct to tow truck alternator connection could be useful if there is no sun for a few days. The other one that has not been tested is shore power - this should be tested when we go to a complete hook up park for the first time tomorrow. More fun to be had.
Anyways. So far so good. We'll keep you posted.
